The Wrought Iron Artist - Fanie Möller

Experimenting with wood and wrought iron over the past couple of years has brought Fanie Möller in touch with blacksmith Wolf Bartling of Ratio Iron Arts in Somerset West, Helderberg, South Africa.

Wolf who has since relocated back to his native Germany served as mentor and teacher to Fanie who then started his own concern called Eccentric Wrought Iron Art which is now located near Plettenberg Bay, Southern Cape. These valuable skills that were taught by a master blacksmith are now being used to create very unique gothic and medieval chandeliers, lighting and big heavy medieval doors with heavy duty wrought iron hinges crafted by hand.

Typical items include hanging and standing wrought iron chandeliers and VERY big and heavy solid wooden doors with little wrought iron windows and shutters. All of these pieces are crafted out of solid wrought iron and sculpted by hammer and anvil.

When you order a genuine hand crafted piece from Eccentric Wrought Iron Art you can be absolutely sure of its authenticity and uniqueness in every way. They look heavy and they are heavy!
